"Brighter Days Ahead"
In this assemblage, the ironic cheerfulness of charity greeting cards is juxtaposed with nature and memory.Recycled cards are painted white, like burial shrouds and sewed to a tunic- shaped piece of wool. The gold lamé fabric symbolizes celebration in religious ceremony.

Watercolor and ink drawings of trees on handmade, Japanese scroll paper refer to nature’s continual cycle of growth, decay, death and rebirth.
