Archive > Suburban Wild Life

In 2020, as Spring unfolded in the northeastern hemisphere, the pandemic closed the world. I found myself spending more time in my backyard and local environment. Beautiful flowers bloomed, birds sang, and wildlife like foxes, rabbits, squirrels, snakes, raccoons, and skunks visited.

In my “Suburban Wildlife” series, I printed animal drawings onto fabric and created collage compositions from abstracted photos of urban scenes.
